Smoke rolling. Music on. Friends outside (as “socially distanced” as a BBQ crew can pretend to be). Good food was how he stayed grounded.
And he had one seasoning blend that everyone wanted:
“Bro… what did you put on these ribs?”
What started as a simple rib rub turned into a neighborhood obsession.
Friends weren’t just asking for the recipe —they wanted the seasoning itself.
“Dude… you need to bottle this.”
At first, Chris laughed it off.
But then more people asked.
And then more.
And suddenly, people were offering to pay him for jars of his homemade seasoning rub.
So in the kitchen of his home — at a time when the world felt uncertain — Chris leaned into what he knew best:
